Guidelines

The Limburg Biënnale is constantly evolving. For this edition, several adjustments have been made.

  • You can no longer register for both locations at the same time. For the 2026 edition, we ask each participant to choose between the two locations:
    - Marres in Maastricht (max. 1,000 registrations)
    - Odapark in Venray (max. 1,000 registrations)

  • This year we are working with a maximum number of registrations: 1,000 for Marres and 1,000 for Odapark. Once the maximum is reached at a location, registration for that location will close. If one location is full, you may still register at the other, provided there is space. Our advice: don’t wait too long, because once it’s full, it’s full!

  • In situ work (work on location) is not possible.

  • Contact with the jury is not allowed.

  • You may only participate if you live in the Euregio and can deliver and pick up your work yourself. If we notice that you deliver your work via a courier, you will be disqualified.

  • You must pick up your work on the collection days, September 4 & 5, 2026, at Marres or Odapark. If you fail to pick up your work (on time), it will be destroyed. Marres and Odapark do not have storage facilities.

  • Incorrectly filling out the form, registering twice, or registering at two locations will result in disqualification.

  • The photos you submit will also be the ones used for printed materials. The information you provide on the form will be used in all our communications. If you notice any errors in your details on your confirmation email, you may still submit a correction via limburgbiennale@marres.org
