About the Limburg Biënnale

With great pleasure, Marres and Odapark present the fourth edition of the Limburg Biënnale, an exhibition that offers a cross-section of visual art in Limburg and its surroundings.

At the beginning of 2026, Marres and Odapark will once again launch an open call for Limburg’s most popular exhibition, open to everyone who feels like an artist. Please note: for this edition, the guidelines will change slightly.

Open call: 23 February – 8 March, 2026

More information about the open call, how to submit your work, and contact details will follow! Keep an eye on the socials of Odapark and Marres, as on the 27th of every month we’ll be sharing more details about the upcoming Limburg Biënnale.

Jury

The jury and curator team, consisting of professional artists, reviews the submissions without knowing who created the artworks. They then use their selections to design a space at Marres or Odapark, where they also display their own work.

Guidelines

Please note: the rules are changing!

The Limburg Biënnale is constantly evolving. For this edition, several adjustments have been made. The open call runs from February 23 through March 8, 2026—only during this period can you submit your registration. The registration form will be available online earlier, allowing you to prepare properly and see right away which information you need to provide.

Location choice

For the 2026 edition, we ask each participant to choose between the two locations:
⭢ Marres in Maastricht (max. 1,000 registrations)
⭢ Odapark in Venray (max. 1,000 registrations)

You can no longer register for both locations at the same time.

Number of registrations

This year we are working with a maximum number of registrations: 1,000 for Marres and 1,000 for Odapark. Once the maximum is reached at a location, registration for that location will close. If one location is full, you may still register at the other, provided there is space. Our advice: don’t wait too long, because once it’s full, it’s full!

More information about the open call, how to submit your work, FAQs, the selection process, and contact details will follow. We look forward to creating another wonderful edition of the Limburg Biënnale together!
