Production Assistant (m/f/x)
8 to 16 hours per week, to be discussed

Odapark Center for Contemporary Art is a place where art and nature exist side by side — where visitors can wander freely through exhibitions and drift among trees and sand dunes. We are open to everyone, easily accessible, and primarily work with young talent. With a small team and the support of a large group of volunteers, we have been presenting a stimulating program of exhibitions, talent development, and art and nature education for North Limburg and far beyond for 30 years.

Description
As a production assistant, you will work closely with the Head of Coordination and Production, acting as a vital link during the fourth edition of the Limburg Biennale. If you are eager to gain experience in cultural production work and are highly precise and assertive, this is the perfect opportunity! Your working hours will be scheduled flexibly in consultation. At certain times, you’ll work full-time on location (for example, just before the opening or on other key dates), while at other times the workload will be lighter. In addition to working one to two days per week, it is important that you are available on the following dates in 2026:

February 23 – March 8 (weekdays)

April 16 and 17

June 5 and 6

June 27

August 28 and 29
Your tasks include:

Processing all submissions from the open call

Preparing and assisting during jury days
-
Preparing and coordinating the drop-off and pick-up days for submitted artworks
-
Providing general support to the Head of Coordination and Production


Profile

You are practical and hands-on;

You are flexible in both working hours and tasks;

You are skilled and resourceful;

You are highly accurate and detail-oriented in your administration;

You enjoy creating structure and order;
-
Affinity with Odapark’s program and the arts sector is a plus;

You have good command of both Dutch and English;

You are stress-resistant, professional in presentation, and assertive;

You can work independently but also enjoy being part of a team;

You are technically adept and comfortable using software such as Excel.
